Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin ( Switch, PC) has sold 1.3 million units (New).It would be extraordinarily difficult to implement, but I think would be so useful.Capcom has updated its list of “ Platinum Titles“-games that have sold over one million units-providing total sales numbers as of June 30, 2021. Gen 1: IG gets shittier combos, CB loses red shield mode, Swaxe loses the infinite chopping after the uppercut chop, LS loses the spirit gauge and combo entirely, HH has shittier combos, Gunlance loses wyvern fire, and Bow loses the charge attack. Gen 2: IG loses the ability to shoot pheromone, CB loses the ability to attack straight out of a Guard Point, and Swaxe loses the mind's eye/extra affinity in sword mode. Gen 3: IG loses vault, and CB loses shield stab. Maybe have them lose attacks for each generation so they aren't especially overpowered, and to make them feel like they're being worked on. That would be really cool and would make the games more accessible, and make it so people who can only emulate can play these weapons. You know what would be a really great mod for any of the PPSSPP monster hunter games? Porting CB and IG to P3rd, CB, IG, and Swaxe to FU, and CB, IG, Swaxe, Bow, LS, HH, and GL to F1. So the questions: Is this something you guys might be interested in? Are there people who would like to help out? (Doesn't have to be just artists. But I do believe this could be a larger collaborative project and probably gain more traction. this is a personal project, I want to introduce a friend to the series and this is me trying to make it all modern. Here's a link with an example of what I'm talking about and what i've got so far: I'm also working on Higher quality maps that are still in the monster hunter shaded style for UI components, but also an optional map with resources on it. I'm starting a project to do a high quality upscale of the Monster Hunter Portable Third HD UI and other bits and bobs that needs attention.
Recently I've discovered that you can dump textures and change them for the PSP (I know I'm a bit behind here). I come bearing gifts but also asking for advice.
